Overall, the process is quite similar to purchasing a ticket. The only difference is that as the organizer of the event, you are given an additional option at the checkout to register the selected ticket(s) as complimentary. If you do so, the ticket(s) will be immediately issued for free and will be directly sent to your guest's email address that you provided at the checkout.

In summary, sign in on EventYab and proceed to get tickets on behalf of your guest. Fill in the checkout form with name and contact information of your guest. Check the box for Register as complimentary ticket, then press the Get Ticket(s) button.
