To access this module, from the 'View Event' page, select 'Controls' drop down, then select 'Manage Coupons'. On the coupon page, choose “Add coupons” on the right top. Now you can fill in some fields as shown below.
- Name: This is the name of the coupon and will be visible to attendees during checkout. Choose a name that is easy to remember and clearly conveys the purpose of the coupon. The information about the coupons can be also added in the event description section.
- Expiry: This is the date when the coupon will expire and can no longer be used. You can set this date to coincide with the end of your event or any other date of your choosing.
- Code: This is the unique code that attendees will enter to redeem the coupon. You can choose any combination of letters, numbers, and symbols to create a code that is easy to remember but hard to guess.
- Apply Automatically: If you select yes, the coupon will automatically be applied to eligible tickets during checkout, without the need for attendees to enter a code.
- Type: It determines whether the coupon provides a fixed amount or a percentage discount. Choose the option that best suits your needs.
- Amount: Enter the amount of the discount here. For example, if you want to offer a $10 discount, enter "10" in this field.
- Total Available: This is the maximum number of times the coupon can be used in total. Once this limit is reached, the coupon will no longer be valid.
- Limit per transaction: This is the maximum number of times the coupon can be used per transaction. For example, if you set this value to "1", each attendee can only use the coupon once per order.
- Applies to: This determines which tickets or ticket categories the coupon can be applied to. You can choose to apply the coupon to all tickets, or only to specific ones.
