Creating a seat-map event allows you to provide a visual representation of the seating arrangement to your attendees. They can select their preferred seats during the ticket purchase process, enhancing their overall event experience.

To create an online event on EventYab, the process is quite similar to creating a regular event. We have a comprehensive tutorial video that guides you through the event creation process, which you can watch here.

  1. Fill in the required details for your event, such as the event name, date, time, and location.
  2. In the "Will you manage your event tickets on EventYab?" field, select "Yes".
  3. Scroll down to the "Seat/Table Map" section and click on the "Upload Seatmap Image" button.
  4. Choose the seatmap image file that represents the seating arrangement of your venue. Make sure the image is clear and accurately reflects the layout.

Once the seat-map image is uploaded, EventYab will use it to create the final seat-map for your event. This process may take 1-2 business days. During this time, if you have any questions or need assistance, you can reach out to our support team for help.

Once the seat-map is created, you will be able to set pricing and availability, and manage your event tickets as usual.
