Technical Sales Representative

Job Description

EventYab Cloud Services ( is looking for an experienced Sales Representatives to develop relationships with our primary channel partner and sell application with them. You will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities that drive revenue for the partnership. The job type is part time and the wage is based on the market values for this position.

You can upsell, cross-sell, but never oversell. You are at your happiest when your customers are happy and can sense even the slightest disturbance in the sales cycle equilibrium. You speak TechBiz fluently and can interpret the subtle linguistic nuances of internal Software Developer, Product Manager, Technical Pre-sales, and QA to find the best solution for your customer.

With a passion for technology, you can whip out your inner nerd whenever the situation demands it and understand exactly what makes a high performing software team tick. Upon joining the team, you will either have trained under, or be willing to enrol in. You find the rhythmic sound of small plastic balls gently grazing fiber-glass not only improves sales performance but actually induces your super-power-closing mode.

We need you to:

  • Maintain close contact with the Sales Director to accurately forecast sales pipeline
  • Establish client relations by managing accounts and maintaining contact with key leads and contacts
  • Research on market, industry, potential clients, and leads
  • Provide general recommendations in regards to business growth, development, and structure
  • Work closely with the design and engineering team to provide solutions and resolution to problems
  • Write proposal and contracts

Required Skills

  • Professional self-starter able to collaborate and work well with people with various backgrounds and disciplines
  • Excellent interpersonal and human interaction skills
  • Exceptional communication (verbal & written), teamwork, and outreach
  • Strong networking and marketing aptitude
  • Understanding of industrial project life cycle and process knowledge
  • Ability to multitask and effectively handle several customers/priorities
  • Computer literacy (CRM, MS Office Applications)
  • Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limitedsupervision
  • Previous experience in a technical/engineering position a strong asset
  • Previous experience in sales/business development experience a strong asset
  • Ability to link and gauge targeted client with suitable value added services


  • 1+ years inside sales experience with technology solutions
  • Experience selling through a sales channel
  • Bonus points for experience in selling BI/analytics solutions
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, is desirable
